It may take longer to complete and MBA through part time study, but it is an excellent choice for someone who has already established there career and is just looking to expand upon their current qualifications. There is no internship or work study through part time programs, but it is often not necessary for the type of student who is most interested in this style of schooling.

Students who want to earn credit in their schooling for their real world work experience often enjoy an executive MBA program. These programs are designed to enhance the careers of working professionals and are generally company sponsored. Classes are scheduled to accommodate the professional's work week and typically take about two years to complete. The major advantage to these programs is that they are generally paced to be complete in less time than that of a part time MBA program, making them an ideal and convenient way for executives to climb the corporate ladder.
